The first concept of Moonbeam Theatre was born over cups of coffee in the cafe of Canterbury’s Gulbenkian theatre in January 2020, when soon-to-be graduates at the time, Elyse, Colette, Jess and Vicky began dreaming of what their lives after University might look like. Excited by the possibility of setting up an accessible theatre company, they parked the idea to focus on finishing their Drama degrees. It wasn’t long after that Moonbeam Theatre was offered a residency at the University of Kent, which they were overjoyed to accept…and the adventure truly began!
